Question Help with SlackBook?

Other than cloning the GIT version where can we post about edits, additions, and comments on sections to help with the progression of the book itself? Here? Or somewhere else?

The www.slackbook.org page has a link to Alan's email address and information about contributing. Here is also a beta version of the book.

Thank you, I was going to ask the same thing. I've sent an e-mail to Alan to offer my help.

Also, what's up with SlackWiki? Perhaps Slackers don't particularly like documentation outside of comments in the scripts and config files?

(On the other hand, AlienBob has a lot of information on his wiki and blog, and there is some good stuff on the LQ Slack Wiki).

I'm surprised there isn't a SlackBook subforum to submit ideas. Would be better than pummeling Alan's email to death and we could discuss things with everyone openly.

Hi,

Look at: New Slackware book 3.0 04-15-11 thread.

Hopefully you will discern the reasons behind the delay and participation with Alan's version.

Positively enlightening. It's been 5 months since the last chiding by vtel57. Maybe we should give it a go again? Get our Public Enema #1 on the case?
