<help> mysql deathloop || out of disk space

Hi I just rebooted the computer from linux and went into my windows boot. When I went back to linux, after mysql started the screen just started going crazy. I don't know what to do because I don't know how to capture the screen. It said something about mysql and no such file or directory and being out of disk space.
It was flashing at a hundred times a second. I then proceeded to log in blindly while all this was going on and issued the startx command. When KDE started up I got an error:

HOME (/root) is out of disk space

And it could not load. Is there anything I can do? I know I should start linux w/o mysql, or something like that, but I don't know how. Please, any help will be usefull. I just installed Slackware 10.2 last night and everything was working fine. I really want to ditch windows completely when I get it tuned up.

Thanks

Jesse

I know that linux has a nasty learning curve at the beginning. But once I get something I really excel.

Try it as soon as you can type something into the console. Your logs would be unde /var/log/.
