Right on!, binidiot. I forgot about twm with all the 'pretty' programs it starts on execution. Be sure and add xfm to complete your 'desktop'. BTW this is just like the desktop used in my favorite 'Minimal Install' - the 1DiskXwindows Linux distro. Includes all of the above (and more?), all on just one floppy!
Ditto, what others like may not be what is best for your needs. I've tried Gnome, KDE, but yet still find myself coming back to Fluxbox due to the quickness, simplicity, and the fact it adds nothing in really.
They are all great, just you need to find what suits you.
