Help Making Topologilinux 5 Image File Larger

I don't know if you are familiar with topo 5 or not, but basically its a distro based off of Slackware that creates an image file on your NTSF partition so you can boot linux without repartitioning. I recently installed Topo 5. I am now at a point where I installed a bunch of video-editing software and I want to get started rendering some vids. But my main image file for topo 5 is only 5 GB, of which 4 GB is for system files and programs. 1 GB is not very much at all to work with. Is there a safe way for me to resize my current Topo image without needing to reinstall, or is there a way that I can make another image and use it as a "second hard drive" for topo?
Thanks alot.

One other thing- The image file is called base.img, could I just open it up and copy all the files to a new , larger image?
