Nothing even came up, i should tell you the driver is being loaded i read the text as it came down and it says the kernel loaded the module with warnings that the drivers isnt open source.

Add a line to your /etc/rc.d/rc.modules :
Code:
/sbin/modprobe nvet
Then configure the device using the 'netconfig' script and setup your networkdevice.

i noticed something on start up, it trys to configure its self to 192.168.1.2 and my routers adress is 192.168.1.1, i wonted my adress to be 192.168.1.2 not for it to try to connect to the net though that, anyway i ran "ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.1" then i could ping my router but i couldnt accuess the net so i rebooted and it reset the settings back to 192.168.1.2, can anyone help please.
