Question HDD Help

Here's my dilemma:

Just to make things easier, I will call PC1 a pc with slackware 10.1 with reiserFS, and PC2 a pc with slackware 9.1 also running reiserFS.

I made some stupid modifications to PC1's ssh config file, now ssh will not start. PC1's motherboard for some reason does not detect ANY ps/2 keyboards, so editing the ssh config file from the actual pc won't be possible.

My question is: Can I remove the hard drive from PC1 and put it into PC2, boot from PC2's slackware 9.1 and edit PC1's hard drive from slackware 9.1, then put back PC1's hard drive?

Can 9.1 read 10.1's reiserFS? Will PC2 automatically detect and mount PC1's hard drive?

Or do you have any other suggestions on how to fix this problem.

Any and all comments are greatly appreciated.

Yes, put the PC1 drive in a PC2 ide port, boot the system and
mout your partition, take care that the IDE number has changed though

eg : PC1 root partition is /dev/hda2, when the drive is connected
in PC2, the partition becomes /dev/hdb2 or maybe /dev/hdc2
if you connected the drive in a different IDE port
