Question hdb drive

Hi all, tried to install Slack 9 but when I cfdisk I only see my WinXP drive (hda), the slave drive doesn't show up. Oddly it shows up whenever I do Lycoris d/lx installs.

Is there a command I have to give to get it to show up?

thanks,

Rob

how do you mean "shows up"? if you run fdsik then that only runs for one device at a time, it won't let you choose between them, so to run it for hds, it's be "cfdisk /dev/hdb"
