Have 2.4.32 looking for a 2.4.26


Ummm I keep getting errors about /lib/modules kernel 2.4.26 but in that folder is a 2.4.32..And it is preventing me from using my sound card...Also i am having troubles with my internet..i am running trough a router and...netconfig...does nothing for me...Any and all help would be much thanx

Which kernel are you booting? uname -a will show you.

You should have /lib/modules/2.4.26 and /lib/modules/2.4.32 directories. Each of those will have the appropriate modules in sub-directories. Can you confirm this?

Can you issue this command and post the output here:

$ ls -l /lib/modules
