Hardware inventory report

What scripts or tools are some of you Slackers fond of for producing a nice inventory list of all the hardware in a box? I realize the /proc process contains a lot of info, as do the logs, but I'm looking for a nice script to run that will create a verbose and meaningful report. Something I can print and place in a notebook.

I've done some surfing and have downloaded a few examples, but I'm merely seeking opinions. Thanks again.

I'm aware of those options, but they are incomplete. What kind of mouse is installed? Monitor? Video card? Printer? Scanner? What ISA devices? Etc.
