Hamachi with glib 2.26

I have a lastest hamachi version ( 2.1.0.174 ) but when i try login, hamachi crash with this message :

hamachid: relocation error: hamachid: symbol __res_maybe_init, version GLIBC_PRIVATE not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference

I can't access to hamachi code, exist any patch to make glibc work?

Hamachi is a proprietary application, more precisely: a VPN Service client.

See there for more details: https://www.vpn.net/

In other hand, GLIBC 2.26 is what the slackware-current ships today.

Long story short, that Hamachi thing looks like not being compatible with our Slackware current.

I suggest to OP to go back to a stable version, i.e. Slackware 14.2, if he want stability and usability.

Looking at Arch, they don't have anything special, so maybe their glibc isn't high enough to cause a problem. I did test it on a 14.2 install and running a few commands didn't cause any errors. It might be your only option is to use it on 14.2, wait for them to release a newer version that supports the glibc in -current, or use some other client.
