Gxine firefox plugin error

I'm using Slackware current for now and I'm getting plugin errors with gxine. Running the gxine setup wizard claims to be unable to find the browser plugins in my ./mozilla and ./firefox directories in /home. However they are there, and symlinked to /usr/lib/gxine/gxineplugin.so. Everything looks ok to me, so I'm wondering why these errors? Anyone else having these errors?

Personally, I think even after you get Gxine working, it sucks. I would actually recommend installing MPlayer, then using the mplayerplug-in for Firefox/Mozilla.
