gui wifi settings
Hello all, I've just installed slackware after many years of using .debs. My machine is a Lenovo T420s. I am accustomed to having issues with the wifi driver and getting connections, so I assumed the same would occur on slackware. In KDE, the network manager on the panel can't seem to get me a wifi connection. I installed wicd from the extras folder on my install disk and it works well. i'm totally fine with using the curses based connection manager, but I wonder if there's a way to get the same sort of gui manager for wicd? Can I make the panel's network manager work with wicd? Thanks in advance for your help!
