Guarddog. ip_tables not found

Rather worrying this. I was trying to disable my firewall with guarddog to investigate an ftp problem and I got this error

FATAL: Module ip_tables not found.
iptables v1.3.3: can't initialize iptables table `filter': iptables who? (do you need to insmod?)
Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded.
Finished.

I have compiled my own kernel. Is this a kernel compilation problem?

Thanks,

Alan

Typically means you didn't include IPtables or a part of it in the kernel.

I had left out some of the modules.

Seems to be working now.

Thank you very much
