GSlacky 2.20.3 ready to download!

A Gnome 2.20.3 with native Compiz-Fusion + Compiz-fusion-icon support for Slackware 12.0 is ready to download, from Italian Slackware Community!!http://www.slacky.eu/

http://img254.imageshack.us/my.php?i...hermatakt9.png

The iso, at present, is available only from torrent!

http://gnome.slacky.eu/2.20.3/torren...n-i686.torrent

We are working for a Ftp direct download as soon as possible.

GSlacky respect the GPL. The iso contain the complete source and compilation-sequence. With standard SlackBuild and slack-desc.

The new GSlacky-2.20.3 is basically a Gnome-2.20.3, with some parts of the next future Gnome 2.22.0.

(Metacity with native composite-manager, Yelp, Totem with Youtube browser, Sound-juicer.....)

GSlacky-2.20.3 replace 31 Slackware 12.0 packages.

I am total noob to gnome ,always used KDE. I am interested in trying it out though, is there any form of gnome I can install to /opt or something safely without it touching anything else?

Not that I'm aware of. It would have to be source based.

Did you read the above post? That's not looking likely.
