GRUB in top left corner on boot

I have installed 10.1 and I get GRUB in the top left corner on boot. What gives?

MBR instead

I chose MBR instead of boot for the location of lilo to fix it.

All is good, well sorta.

I'm not too familiar with GRUB, but there should have been a configuration file created when it was installed. Within this configuration file, there are most likely parameters that designate the screen location for the boot loader screen. I know that when using a customized boot screen for LILO this is the case.
