Grub Error 17 :S
 

Hi
I´ve recently installed Slackware 11.0 on my server and after the isntall i restarted the computer and i get following error:

GRUB Loading Stage1.5


Grub Loading Please wait....
Error 17


Any suggestions what i can do to fix it?

I typed GRUB Error 17 into Google, and the results look very promising :)
I use LILO, so I can't be more specific, but there appears to be entire threads dedicated to Grub error 17.

grub is not the default loader in slack. or did u used my way "install pkg before the first reeboot" -mentioned in my page (now little messed up)
1.is anyother linux runnin in the same box or
2. did u forgot to install lilo?(chance tht there was a previous grub installed, and no new loaders installed)

if you didnt install grub, please boot with ur slack 1st isntall cd
install grub package run grubconfig, edit menu.lst
