Anyone have any success including GRSecurity?

how'd it go with this?

were you asking cuz you were having trouble with grsecurity or cuz you were thinking about implementing it??

i might be giving grsecurity a shot on my slackware box soon...

it went ok, I was having trouble but finally got it going. I was able to use the kernel source from slack instead of getting a vanilla kernel.

GRSecurity has nothing to do with GRC.

So hopefully you won't have to resort to using code contributed by the fascist police state (SELinux/NSA, that is).

I use GRSec on my server and it runs well. The server has a fairly low load and the exec() logging generates ~100MB logs per week. It pretty much requires automated analysis even on a small server. Apart from that, I love it! Being able to hide non-user processes is a fun toy
