Graphics not loading after upgrading to Slackware-Current

I've upgraded Slackware-13.1 I had installed to Slackware-Current using a local tree I had download with mirror-slackware-current.sh script, but when I rebooted I could not get the graphics to load. I think it's because I've also modified /etc/groups and add an username after audio: and video: group, but I forgot that and had to remove slackware from the machine.

Thanks for reading this!

When you say "I could not get the graphics to load", what exactly do you mean? Did you previously boot straight to 'graphics', but now it drops you to a terminal? If so, try typing 'startx' and see if you get errors. Also, looking in '/var/log/Xorg.0.log' might provide some hints

It didn't load the X after pressing startx, no errors but no graphics either with X.

Well, I've format the hard drive, but thanks for trying to help.

So, I did the same thing, upgrading to new Kernel and the KDM and XDM don't work...

Did you verify what was doing??
