Typo in title, I'm on 14.2. I got a search hit in the slackbuilds -current sticky post that talks about scons not being needed but if so why did the slackbuild stop saying its missing
If you're on 14.2, scons comes with Slackware. There is no need to find it and build it, you should have already had it -- scons-2.4.1-x86_64-1 -- and if you've ended up with some homebrew scons, ditch it and get the real thing. And if the reason you didn't have scons is because you don't have a full installation... well, I hope you know the story by now.
ok, thats odd because I'm on a full install of 14.2
Thats strange, wonder where my scons package went, I always just do the full install.
sure enough I reinstalled scons and it works fine.
