Do you have your build scripts or installer online, or do I need to download the ISO to check them out?
Yes you can find source, SlackBuild, install-script and package on Slacky.eu Ftp server! http://gnome.slacky.eu/gnome/12.0/2.18.3/ the arrangements of files is exactly the same of Iso image!
But, please use torrent or ftp mirror for download Gnome-Slacky 2.18-3 so that Slacky server's congestion can be prevented.
PS. Gnome-Slacky replace only 7 packages from Slackware 12.0!
I just installed it and I'm running Gnome-Slacky and I'm running it as I type. The install was the smoothest I've ever seen. I like your work. PLEASE KEEP IT UP!

Thank's to Massimo Cavalleri for GSlacky installer!
We are working also for a Gnome Slackware repository in www.slacky.it!
Gnome Slacky worked great until I tried to hibernate it using suspend2 (which so far had worked perfectly). It crashed while suspending and when I rebooted, my system was borked.
So I reinstalled Slackware and IMMEDIATELY reinstalled Gnome Slacky. While using the console and running things like xorgconfig and the NVidia installer, I kept getting screens full of error messages headed by the words "pointer error," "glibc" and "trackerd". I know I should have written down the exact words of the error but I didn't.
While I love Gnome Slacky's nonintrusive design, the installer is great and I certainly think you should continue, I think I'll wait for the next version before I try to use Gnome Slacky again .

Trackerd is the Tracker Search Tools daemon! It' easy to disable, under settings/preferences/session! I think to remove tracker dependencies from Nautilus, this for the next GSlacky 2.20.0!
Thank's for report the problem! GSlacky was built and tested only under standard Slackware 12.0 kernel! I need to build a custom patched kernel for testing suspend2! Maybe it's a gnome-power-manager related problem http://www.nabble.com/suspend-not-working-t2544954.html
I'm 95% sure that I was getting trackerd errors even when I was not running X. Does Gnome-Slacky set Slackware up to load trackerd on boot?
While we're on that topic, what, if anything, does Gnome Slacky add to Slackware's bootup sequence?
I couldn't find this information on the "Gslacky Eng" page. I'd check the documents on the Gnome Slacky CD, but I don't have it handy at the moment.
Trackerd daemon is started by a desktop file in /etc/xdg/autostart! This is not a GSLacky settings, but the default Tracker settings!
Code:

When I'm running GNOME and I switch to the first virtual console, I see the following message being reprinted every three seconds:
Code:
** (nm-applet:3306): WARNING **: <WARN> nma_dbus_init(): could not acquire its service. dbus_bus_acquire_service()
says: 'Connection ":1.8" is not allowed to own the service "org.freedesktop.NetworkManagerInfo" due to security policies
in the configuration file'
So I disabled the network manager as well as the the tracker and things seem to be okay now. Hibernate works (YAY!) and I'm not seeing the error messages I mentioned in my last post. I will post again if I have further problems.
