gnome/kde icons
i regularly switch between GNOME and KDE depending on what i am doing. I am running Slackware 10.2 and Freerock GNOME. The problem is the icons. The Pictures dont stay the same between GNOME and KDE. If, for example, i make an icon under KDE I won't be able to see the icon picture in GNOME. Is there some way to change this so that i can look at the icons in both GNOME and KDE? All the launchers still work but the icons are what is bugging me.

Find a theme, which ís avaible in both GNOME and KDE.
Bluecurve íi an example. |
There is a project create a consistent user experience for free and Open Source software with graphical user interfaces. One thing they create is consistent icon beetwen kde and gnome. It's not complete though. Try tango-project dot org

You can view KDE launchers in GNOME and vice versa, if you change the path of your KDE Desktop directory to the same one as GNOME. You can do this by going to the PATHS section somehwere in kcontrol.

Search in the Appearance and Settings section of Kcontrol under styles.
