gnome icon breaks


i logged in my linux today to find that the icon in my gnome has all gone... now every icon in nautilus and desktop only display a pix of a plain paper... no more icons...
Y is it like that? and is there a way to fix it?

thx in advance...

Try reconfiguring the icons in the preferences menu.
