glibc 2.33 mass rebuild on the horizon

Does anyone else get the feeling the promised glibc 2.33 mass rebuild is ready to drop? No -current updates yesterday so the stage may be set...

glibc 2.33 was released on 2/1.

Sounds like there's an issue with the 32bit builds and Pat is looking at throwing them into testing/.

Yeah, x86_64 went great here as well with no apparent problems. So where's that new glibc, you might ask?

Well, the build seemed to go well on x86 with no compile failures, but something about the new glibc kills sshd on 32-bit. I suspect it's a lack of some function or another in the privsep sandbox (it's happened on other architectures with a new glibc before), but have not been able to track down the issue yet. And I'm a bit surprised that Google isn't revealing anyone else running into this yet.

Planning to put the new glibc into /testing with a warning about this situation. As always, any help figuring out a solution is welcomed.

I missed Pat's post yesterday. Good to know.

Whew. My nintendo switch is out of juice and recharging. I don't think I want to do another big glibc upgrade without something to amuse myself. (I'd finished my last dead tree book, as well, along with the ebook I was reading. Without Calibre, I couldn't reload something new...)
