Yeah, I left him a get well comment on his blog. Never had 'flu myself, but I know some who have. Not a pleasant experience. I hope Caitlyn Martin doesn't think Slackware is doomed because Alien Bob is ill. :)

Get well soon Alien and thanks for all you do for us Slackers! I don't think you hear it enough.

I did get the flu only once, in New York City. It was pretty bad, it was hard to move around, I felt really sick. I ate a lot of oranges and garlic soup (not sure they helped), and I got better in about a week.

Enjoy warm food, and comfy couch. Get well soon, Alien!

Eric, I appreciate all that you do on your own time to see that we get quality Slackware packages. Sorry to hear about your getting the flu. It's a nasty bugger, to be sure :(

Hi,

I am a believer in inoculations for flu & pneumonia. I am a severe asthmatic and either would put me in the hospital. Add all the other issues and I can become very ill.

Chicken soup! Great for the immune system along with other good eating habits. Still love my occasional beer and warm vacations. :)

You can't keep a good man down! He is recovered enough to be posting at SlackDocs. Then again, maybe that is just delirium:)
