Hello !

I was wandering if anyone managed to install gDesklet on Slackware 10.2 ..

I installed Freerock Gnome (gsb.freerock.org) (minimal) .. and I then tried to install gDesklets the "old fashioned" way: I downloaded the source, and performed ./configure .. that's as far as I got .. I got 3 missing dependencys .. when I tried to solve them, I got 10 more ... I gave up not knowing how far this would get .. I'm wandering if anyone has an easier way to install gDesklets (slack 10.2) ... maybe a shell script or something .. I'm pretty new to slackware and I don't really know all possible methods .. I've searched for packages (*.tgz) on linuxpackages.net and slackware.it/pb/ with no luck ...

I have 10.2 with FULL Freerock install and gDesklets is included. Works with no problems at all. Maybe the minimal install does not include all the pre-req's?

even if you do find saxa's page, the links are wrong so I just stated messing around with it and LO and behold! jackpot! (I'm sure they aren't trying to hide it, in the midst of migration I'm sure they forgot to update a few rarely visited links)
