I'm looking for some information on the GATOS drivers. The site stresses you get the right version for your X version. The latest version is for X.org 6.7.0, the problem is Slackware 10.2 has X.org version 6.8.2 .

I don't want to install the drivers if it's going to screw up my system. So does anybody have any information on how to get the GATOS drivers installed on Slackware 10.2? Any success with the the X.org 6.7.0 version of the drivers?

I searched through this Slackware forum, but didn't find anything of use besides links to the GATOS main website.

it has the gatos driver installed with it. how ever i still have not gotten tv-in support to work (get a black screen with no sound). Gatos is a waste of time if your not a developer because they don't give you the time of day. others who have gotten the drivers to work mostly don't know how it was done or their results are not repeatable.
