Garbled Output in XTerm

Does anyone know how I would correct the output of my weather report in xterm?

I'm guessing it's a language or character encoding problem?

Works here:
Code:
didier[~]$ cat .Xresources
XTerm*background:#001b33
XTerm*foreground:white
XTerm*faceName:DejaVu
XTerm*faceSize:12
didier[~]$
PS A lot faster and more readable than in Firefox. Thanks for the tip!
PPS I have LANG set to fr_FR.utf8. If I set it to C I get a garbled display too.
PPPS and a proper display with these settings needs at least 125 columns.

Thankyou.

I had language set to en_GB ... changed to en_GB.utf8 and all is well.

Works properly here. I'm using urxvt-unicode and have set
Code:
# Append any additional kernel parameters:
append=" vt.default_utf8=1"
in /etc/lilo.conf
rkfb, I think you just need to set your language to support UTF-8.
Works fine here in xterm also.
FWIW I have always used
Code:
 weather pdx
to check the forecast. "weather" is part of the EXPECT(1) program and ships with Slackware. As Didier Spaier says, yes, so much better than a web browser with all the ads and crap!

I changed the language setting by editing:

/etc/profile.d/lang.sh

... just for completion
