FYI: new version of tcsh

Hi All,

I download the new tcsh (6.18.01) and have been using it since Feb 15 on 13.37 x64. No issues so far. The slackbuild from 13.37 built it without any changes.

One notable change in tcsh, it can now autorehash using the new 'autorehash' variable.

Does it still suffer from Alzheimer and keep forgetting the command history?

Mine reset the history to zero every now and then, which I find unacceptable, so I looked for alternatives and fell in love with fish. Mind you, it's a little incomplete and development is abandoned, but it's still wonderful. Never lost one single item of my history.

I do not know, never noticed that happening, but every so often things fall out of my memory
