ftape how do i use it


i want to setup a tape drive on the parallel port

I am sure that i need to use ftape

how do i use it

my drive is a Microsolutions backpack Qic 80 drive and my disto is slackware 9.0

This is something I would like to figure out also.

When I get around to it, I plan to start in

/usr/doc/Linux-HOWTOs/Ftape-HOWTO.

You might check in there if you have it. I did a full install from the official, purchased CDs. I was surprised/happy to find that directory.

I just saw your other post about this and you already got the info about that howto, and that was a month ago...
