FSViewer won't build?

hi guys,
Anyone succeeded in getting FSViewer to build in slack?

The README's seem to indicate that it requires;

$./configure --with-extralibs=-lXft -lGif -lwraster.

However, I'm not sure how to construct the above command to include those 3 libraries. In the form I have it above, it only sees the first library listed, and dismisses the other 2. The README included with FSViewer is equally useless, as he attempted to put the library list inside double quotes, which is an invalid format. There is a comment after the configure command in there along the lines of "can anyone confirm if the above works". It doesn't, and I think there maybe an incompatibility issue with Windowmaker 0.91. So, the question is: can anyone get this to build in Slack 10.1 with WindowMaker 0.91?

I have fired an email off to the programs current maintainer asking him if he will update and fix it's problems with windowmaker 0.91, as the last version of this prog dates from 2002.
Thanks

ok...got it solved..kinda.
Although the source won't build in slack, the maintainer does provide pre-built Suse binaries in rpm format.
I thought i've nothing to lose by this, downloaded the rpm's then converted them to tgz using rpm2tgz. I installed them, and it works.
