fstab doesn't mount win share on bootup

I added the line below to my /etc/fstab and it works fine when I type "mount -a" but it does not mount this one entry when I reboot. Is there a problem with the entry or do I need to do something else to get it to mount automatically??
(The win share has no PW, thats why it's blank. And remember, it DOES work when I manually type "mount -a")

//P750/80gb /storage smbfs uid=bbheder,gid=users,password= 0 0

Could it be that your network is not fully initialized when it tries to mount it?

Re: samba mount in fstab not working automatically

Well, searching a bit more on the web led me to try putting a username= line in the fstab file and that worked.
So I added a new user to windows just for this. Then I adjusted the line in fstab to look like this:
//test/80gb /storage smbfs auto,uid=test,gid=test,username=share,password= 0 0

I'm still not sure why it DID work after I booted and did "mount -a" manually, but would NOT work automatically. But oh well, it's working now.
