Question Freezing mouse

Hi. I have a strange problem.

My mouse works well but it freezes periodically. When mouse freezes, keyboard also "stops" responding (Alt-Tab, Alt-Fx, etc don't work) but Ctrl-Alt-Fx works(so I pass to text mode). In text mode I see my mouse working, so I go back to graphical mode and there I see working mouse as well?!?! Continuing my work, later it freezes again, then Ctrl-Alt-F1, Alt-F7, working, freezing, Ctrl-Alt-F1, ..........

This way I do my job on newly installed Slackware 9 (using XFCE) --- really boring...
I haven't such problem on my first distro I started to use - Mandrake 9.2.

I had skimmed threads related to mouse, but I haven't got a solution. Thanks in advance.
