FreeNX Server Not installed or NX access disable

My Client says this: FreeNX Server Not installed or NX access disabled

I installed this file from ~alien/slackbuilds/freenx/pkg/10.1/freenx-0.4.4-noarch-5.tgz

and I used Kde's package man to install it. It installed and I setup nxserver added a user name and pass. I can't connect to my server though. I even checked to make sure the server was up and runing and it said it was. Can anyone please help me get my NX server going? I'm sorta new to linux.

thanks

DO you have port 22 (SSH) open on your router/firewall? ...ie, can you access the machine from a simple SSH client like putty?

You did install the required package NX (http://www.slackware.com/~alien/slac...5.0-i486-4.tgz) as well?

Don't feel bad. I doubt there is anybody here who has not done the same thing at least once.

But I'm still giggling....lol

At least you asked, rather than complain. Keep it up.
