Framebuffer stuck at 640x480 after upgrade to radeon

I just upgraded my video card, actually my entire mobo, but I think the video card is to blame for this. Lilo is set to use a framebuffer at 1024x768 but for some reason it goes to 640x480. I upgraded my kernel and it is now at 2.6.7. My hardware is
Radeon 7000
Soyo mobo with support for 1.5 volt AGP cards
AMD Athlon 2600

-Thanks in advance.

It would probably help if you:

1) posted the contents of /etc/lilo.conf;
2) told us what video card you used to have, what card you have now, and what drivers it is using;
3) told us what kernel you were using before you upgraded.

Used to have an Nvidia Riva, now using a Radeon 7000 using the drivers in the kernel.
old kernel was 2.6.5.
