I think gimp 2.8.6 and curl 7.31.0 can be included in the next batch

are available on slack-current now

I don't have any suggestions for Pat. Slackware is perfect and its being managed perfectly to keep it that way.

qt-4.8.5 is available

Pat, i have compiled qt-4.8.5, with your SlackBuild because, konqueror crash frequently here, on some websites, it seem this qt-4.8.5, solve these problems.

alsa-utils 1.0.27.2, is available, tested here, without problem.
gtk+-3.8.4-i486, is available, tested here, without problem.
poppler-0.24.1,is available, tested here, without problem.
