fonts after kde 3.3 upgrade: help!
I thought I had solved this, but am not sure what happened.
After update to KDE 3.3 in slackware 10 I got ugly fonts. I went to control center and turned on antiailiasing which I think worked for a while, but now they are crummy looking after a reboot and antiailiasing is on. I also reinstalled X11 files thinking something there might be a problem. Ok this was stupid. What configuration files or paths should I check in Slackware. Is my font problem in x11org? Also what files or configurations in slackware control fonts and how can I find out about these. Thanks. Sorry if this is kind of a repost to earlier sound/font problem, but am desperate and nauseated by fonts. I really want to solve this on my own as its a recurring problem, just need to know where to start looking. |

seems upgrade of packages did not work well.
I instead removed all old kde packages and then installed new kde packages. Fonts are ok now. Also good to fix screen size of monitor. mine was too small |
