I can't but think that some other program I installed altered the font in such a way that the normal settings>configure dolphin>view modes can't fix. The font keeps going back to DEC Terminal no matter what font I choose.
The attached image shows what it looks like.
Does anyone have an idea how to get it back to narmal?
That sort of works, but doesn't fix the issue. If I roll over the icons, I can read the text in the main window, but it doesn't change the drop down menu's or the sidebar.
Although, changing view>view mode>??????, the first two options(icon and compact) do fix the issue for the main window, but again, do nothing for the drop down menu and side bar.
It's sort of like the options need root permissions to change.
I tried to run dolphin as root, and this is the error I got. For what it's worth. (Same error with konqueror)
