Font is HUGE

Hi,

I got Slackware installed and I was able to go to the desktop by typing in "startx". I am using KDE. However, for some reason when I get to the desktop, the font is so big it fills up the whole monitor and I am not able to select anything because all I see is just a big letter or almost a whole word. The "taskbar" looks fine but when any menus show up, I only see a letter or two because it fills up the whole screen. I had this same problem when I boot up the computer using Slax.

Ok I changed the GUI to Gnome and it works fine. Any idea why KDE is messed up?

Did you try to set up the font size in control center in kde ?

Are you sure its just the font that was too big? I had a similiar problem, but it turned out to be a X configuration issue. Of course, the fact that Gnome works might tell us that X is set up fine, but its something to look into.
