fluxbox startup sound !

is there a way to start opening sound when fluxbox start, if not is there a way to program in bash to preform it !

Just put something along the lines of

Code:

play <somefile.wav> &

in your .xsession (or whatever is run when you start X) before the fluxbox startup command. You may need to install whatever package contains the 'play' binary - sox under Debian.

yea i did that when the sound exit, the x window shutdown and i am at the command line (runlevel 3)

What do you have in your .xsession (or .xinitrc) ? It should be something along the lines of

Code:

play <somefile.wav> &
exec fluxbox

The fluxbox entry needs to be the last one.
