Is there any at all? Been looking in swpackages and slackbuilds websites and can't find even openbox or awesome for version 13.x. Tried install from homepage but when i do make install(after ./configure and make) it doesn't finish installing and i don't have choice to run it. I need it for Absolute linux(latest) which is same Slackware 13 under the hood..
Fluxbox is in the Slackware repositories, it is part of the standard install, you can get Openbox as a SlackBuild from AlienBob and information how to get awesome running can be found here.
By the way, the information about openbox and awesome could easily be found with a Google-search for Openbox Slackware and awesome wm slackware.
Well as i said..i need it for Absolute which is based on Slackware but differs a bit and comes only with IceWM in standart install. Thanks for info though.
If "Absolute Linux" is based on Slackware, then you should be able to install the comparable fluxbox slackware package directly on it. Check the xap/ directory on any slackware mirror. If you need the SlackBuild script, then check the source directory.
The SlackBuild scripts in slackware's source and on SlackBuilds.org should, theoretically, work on any Distro aside from the last line which runs 'makepkg' in the package tree at the end of compiling and moving the files. If Absolute Linux uses a different package manager, that's where you would want to run the final package command.
Fluxbox doesn't have many dependencies other than the xlibs. I'm not sure about openbox and awesome, but I would guess the same is true.
