Fluxbox and projector


Some times ago I used flubox+projector to see media. It work ok on pc, but on the wall going out of the frame. KDE handle good it but I'd like to use fluxbox.

Fluxbox is a window manager. Doesn't have anything to do with playing a video, or a tv channel. A media player does that.

Give more info.

I think the goal is to have, for instance, multiple monitors.

For that I use xrandr. See man page for a first shot then come back if any hint needed.

If you are using nvidia card and nvidia driver, you can run nivia-settings from a command line in fluxbox. you can also run systemsettings which is the KDE x-settings module. Either one can help you set up and align your projector and monitor.
