florence keyboard on slackware current NOT WORKING (help)

Hi , i install florence virtual keyboard on slackware current

compilation is ok and install perfect , but not working well.

program starts ,but no write nothing , i see that on shell.

Code:
** (florence:14581): WARNING **: GenerateKeyboardEvent failed: The name org.a11y.atspi.Registry was not provided by any .service files

I remember can run perfectly in other slackware , im not sure is 13.37 or 14.0 / 14.1

Maybe write to the developers and they may be able to tell you how to tweak it.

Maybe the documentation offers a way to make adjustments?

Did it require any dependencies?

Try to install or reinstall the package 'at-spi2-core'.

I found the solution.

compile with

./autogen.sh
./configure --prefix=/usr --without-at-spi

TRANGPATH environment variable

Hi all

I try to compile florence-0.6.3 on current but when running autogen.sh :

./autogen.sh
executing "aclocal"
executing "gnome-doc-prepare --force"
executing "glib-gettextize --force --copy"
executing "intltoolize --copy --force --automake"
executing "libtoolize"
executing "autoheader"
executing "automake --foreign --add-missing"
executing "autoconf"
Please set the TRANGPATH environment variable

What is this environnement variable and what what is its value ?

to run florence's autogen.sh you need trang, that in turn needs a java implementation installed (jdk or whatever).

For the records, today florence builds fine without the option '--without-at-spi' and indeed at-spi works as if orca is started the characters on the virtual keyboard are spoken when clicked.
