flashing Wireless light

Ok, so I have an intel 3945 wireless card on a slackware 12.0 build using kernel 2.6.30. I enabled the LED support in my kernel and everything works just fine, I am able to associate to an AP, and pull an IP. Only problem is that the LED for the wireless card on my keyboard keeps flashing. I'm not sure if it is trying to show activity, since it does pause in the "on" position every once in a while. The problem is it's very distracting since it is a rather large LED, so I constantly see it out of the corner of my eye. I was wondering if the LED support allows for the modification of what the LED does, and if so where I can do that from.

Thanks in advance.

That sort of thing is usually dependent on your particular laptop, and card. So no general answers are possible.
