Flash plugin

Any get errors while installing flash plugin for mozilla 1.3? I am using Slackware 9.0 and got the following errors:

keave@keavebox:~/temp/flash/install_flash_player_6_linux_sa$ ./flashplayer-installer
./flashplayer-installer: line 65: [: 8): integer expression expected

ERROR: Your glibc library is older than 2.2.
Please update your glibc library.

I thought Slackware 9.0 is using glibc 3.2? I download the plugin from this link http://macromedia.mplug.org/site_uh.html.

No I believe the latest glibc is 2.3.x.. your probably thinking of gcc which is at version 3.2 which is a totally different thing.

Most likely you need to update glibc before installing the latest flash player.

Mykilx, that procedure is for the flash-5 plugin, the flash-6 plugin has an installer.

Sifvion, I just installed /slackware/l/glibc-2.3.1-i386-3.tgz with the installpkg command and then ran the flash installer.
