I installed flash player 10.3 64bit and it works fine on youtube and for flash games and videos but it doesn't work when I'm trying to look for tickets on stubhub for example: http://www.stubhub.com/philadelphia-...-2011-1007979/ Normally I would be able to select tickets but I can't and I get this error (On stubhub): To use all the features of this page, you'll need to install Adobe flash Player. It's free!
I installed flash player by running tar -zxvf, then I copied the libflashplayer.so file to /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins
Did I do this wrong?
I get no errors when trying the link you provided; I'm on Slackware 13.1 32-bit using Google Chrome.
With regards to ATI drivers, Slackware comes with all the drivers you require, I'd wager. If a CD came with your hardware, you won't be able to use it (what with all the Windows software on it), but you won't need it.
I do have one other question that is off topic to flash.
How do I go about installing my ATi drivers?
I do suggest that you start a new thread for your problem that is not associated with this one. One, you will get better exposure therefore help from others. Plus you will provide the means for feedback whenever someone searches and finds the results easier to understand.

Happy Slacking!
I know markush has an ATi Radeon HD graphics card, as do I, that's why I brought it up in this thread.
I haven't tried it yet I've been working on other things, my resolution and graphics are fine so it's last on my to do list. I'll post in here when I've tried it.

As a member of LQ, we do hope to provide aid whenever possible. By using good Netiquette , the post(s) will have a flow that all will benefit from. Multiple off topic queries within a thread will only cause confusion. How does the problem 'Flash player problem' relate to 'How do I go about installing my ATi drivers?'? So please help us to help you to help others by having continuity within the forums with your threads.
FYI: Netiquette is a set of social conventions that facilitate interaction over networks, ranging from Usenet and mailing lists to blogs and forums.

Settle down, take a deep breath. I am trying to help you here with how things work on the forum. Apparently you are not fully aware of forum communications. This is not a board or IRC but a forum. As to the PM, probably a good idea if you want to chat off topic.
Adobe released a new preview of their Flash Player plugin. Again, both 64-bit and 32-bit versions of Linux are catered for. All I needed to do was wrap the plugin library into a nice Slackware package. After installation, it is available to all mozilla-type browsers on your system. Get the packages plus scripts here: http://slackware.com/~alien/slackbuilds/flashplayer-plugin/
Enjoy! Eric
Probably a good idea to use Alien_Bob's package.
I also suggest that you look at 'How to Ask Questions the Smart Way' so in the future your queries provide information that will aid us in diagnosis of the problem/query.
I've installed mine from SlackBuilds and it's been working without any problems so far. If you don't know about slackbuilds.org I'd recommend you to have a look at it. And please do read 'How To Ask Questions The Smart Way' as advised by onebuck. You might learn a thing or two. Best of luck, Haroldo
