firewall question: ip conntrack

When I restart my firewall and the modules load, I get " ip_conntrack xxx already exist" numerous times. Is this normal? If not, what do I need to do?

Using /lib/modules/2.4.22/kernel/net/ipv4/netfilter/ip_conntrack.o.gz
insmod: a module named ip_conntrack already exists
ip_conntrack_ftp, Using /lib/modules/2.4.22/kernel/net/ipv4/netfilter/ip_conntrack_ftp.o.gz
insmod: a module named ip_conntrack_ftp already exists
ip_conntrack_irc, Using /lib/modules/2.4.22/kernel/net/ipv4/netfilter/ip_conntrack_irc.o.gz
insmod: a module named ip_conntrack_irc already exists
iptable_nat, Using /lib/modules/2.4.22/kernel/net/ipv4/netfilter/iptable_nat.o.gz
insmod: a module named iptable_nat already exists
ip_nat_ftp, Using /lib/modules/2.4.22/kernel/net/ipv4/netfilter/ip_nat_ftp.o.gz

Your firewall script tries to insert modules in the kernel that is already loaded.
I don't know how your fireall is built up but that's my guess.
I don't see a problem with that other than the error reporting and possible log entries.

Yes, this is normal. It just means it tried to load a module that was already loaded. This is harmless and can be ignored.
