Firestarter locks up on Slack 9.1

I recently installed Firestarter on my Linux (9.1) box.
Everything went smoothly, but I noticed that once on the web, if I try
to bring up the main screen or the toolbar button, it is locked up.
I looked in /etc/rc.d for the firewall script and it's not there.
Is that the problem? If so where can I get the script
