Firefox issue FLASH 7 mediaplaye plug-in

Hi everyone,

i encounted some troubles in slack 10.1 i can't fix myself.

I am using firefox 1.04 on slack 10.1 ( fully updated ). I am using the mplayer plug-in for displaying movies etc in firefox. The plugin works but :

1. when pressing the stop button the window stays and for a moment nothing is happening. Then the sound continious and the window goes dead ( have to use kill fintion to shut down )

2. Even when the movie is finisherd the plugin plays it again.

3. Closing the plug-in windows is most of the time using the kill command

-->
I tried to fix them in mplayer-plugin.conf but there is nothing to configure to solve the problem.
Next thinh i went to chekc maplyer.conf but even there i cant't find anything to fix the problem

3. FLASH 7

when entering a side like doom3.com i realize that the flash plugin woks on the "enter here " window and other things scripted in flash 7. When opening the doom3.com Flash side only the first half of the side is displayed the other half is dead. The status bar indicated that firefox is stil retreiving data from the server. I encounted this many times on other webpages FULLY scripted in flash7.

any ideas ???

Try this:
-remove mplayer
-remove flash 7
-reboot
-let firefox auto-install flash 7 (go to www.nba.com, it asks for it)
-if firefox asks for a manual install, follow the directions in flash page
-reinstall mplayer
-reboot ( maybe not necessary, but just to nail it, so to speak).

It worked for me
