I get this segmentation fault if i want to print.

/run-mozilla.sh: line 131: 27751 Segmentation fault      "$prog" ${1+"$@"
I tryed firefox 3.6.x .3.5.x 4.x

perhaps it's necessary to know that I've GSB installed.

  1. do not install the cups-1.4.4 update - "slackware-13.1/patches/packages/cups-1.4.4-i486-1_slack13.1.txz".
I am still on cups 1.4.3 and I have no problems. cups 1.4.3 with firefox 3.6.12 works fine.
  2. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=573039#c10
start reading from comment #10. and you will see the resolution to this bug. after some more careful reading it seems that linking cups with gnutls is still the only working fix.
  3. will Slackware 13.1 have an updated cups package linked against gnutls? Or do we need to wait for the next Slackware release? it doesn't really bother me (cups 1.4.3 works fine for me), but other people may want to know.

What I don't understand is why the "cups-1.4.4-i486-1_slack13.1.txz" file is not removed, since it is known to break Firefox.

Ol it works with cups 1.4.

The problem I head installed two cups pkgs one from slack64 one form alien bobs multilib, since I've removed both and installed the slack64 again, I'd no problems.

Fixed.

A new cups package has been uploaded which fixes this problem - http://slackware.osuosl.org/slackwar..._slack13.1.txz
