firefox adobe flash addon

i downloaded and tarred the file and moved it to /usr/lib64/firefox---/plugins and it still doesnt work. when i did it with slackware 12.0 it worked. am i putting it in the right directory?

/usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins

EDIT: I don't use 64 bit, just make sure you use 64-bit plugin and put in mozilla directory, should work?
EDIT EDIT: or get the slackbuild of it http://slackbuilds.org/repository/13...player-plugin/

First here is how to use a SlackBuild http://slackbuilds.org/howto/ and http://slackbuilds.org/faq/#x86_64

Second make sure you are downloading the 64 bit version of the plugin.

The x86_64 flash plugin is here: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html
You can't find it in the "normal" download places because its not considered stable yet.

I got it working in Slackware64. I obtained it by doing a google search. You need to get the 64-bit version from Adobe. It is still in Alpha form. Then copy the "so" file to /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins. Works great.
